NYC based fashion and portrait illustrator Deanna First was commissioned to create a striking visual display for the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, bringing high-speed fashion sketching to one of racing’s biggest events. For this exclusive project, Deanna illustrated 20 hand-drawn portraits of all current F1 drivers, showcasing her signature style. Her handwriting graced each personalized illustration that was later gifted to each F1 Driver at the Miami race.

Displayed as part of the event’s official activation and hospitality experience, her work depicts the use of movement - perfect for the high speed Formula 1 drivers! She even customized the patches of each driver to showcase their passions. For example, Lewis Hamilton had a patch of his beloved dog Roscoe. The portraits served as a visually impactful centerpiece, resonating with both racing fans and art enthusiasts alike.
